All of my family is working on my birthday, and told me to just go do whatever with my boyfriend since that’s what’s happened the last 2 years. I told my bf I wanted to go to the beach and have s’mores over a fire with our friends, so I figured that’s what was going to happen. I was excited.

Apparently now instead of doing that, my mom told me we’re instead going to my grandparent’s house after everyone gets off work at 4, and having dinner. Not saying it won’t be nice, but I didn’t even get a say in it. They didn’t bother asking me 😒 I guess the beach can happen next week weekend (a week early).
