How are you feeding your baby?

Question

Just curious! I think pumping is much more common in the States where maternity leave is so painfully short. I'm home with my son for at least a year or so, so he's pretty much glued to my boob for the foreseeable future! We're slowly introducing hand-pumped bottles though, just to get him used to them.

I started with breast milk only, then supplementing with formula, and after a bout of mastitis ended up going to formula only. Definitely a decision I battled with, but my baby is thriving and healthy.

My baby hasn't had a bottle or passie, only the boob.

I do pump to donate and have a few hundred ounces set aside just in case we need it in the future.

I clicked breast only but that’s a mistake. He probably has an expressed bottle once a week but I’m not currently working

My daughter is mostly boob fed.  We started to introduce a bottle here and there. I go back to teaching in 2 weeks so caregiver will have to give milk while I'm away.

Breast only. I did pumped milk and breast the first couple of weeks because of a tongue tie issue but she’s good now 😁 I’m off for 19 months so I don’t NEED to pump and I hate doing it.

I’m bottle feeding - some expressed some formula. I have a year off too and I’m desperate to breastfeed (I did my other 2 for 12 months with no problems) but she just won’t latch so I’m expressing but I can’t keep up with it so she’s having some formula too.

Breast only. We did go to the zoo a few weeks ago and then into the city the day after, so I brought a bottle of Breast milk with me just in case I'd have nowhere to feed. But she refused the bottle... so I had to whip my boob out at the zoo and also in a fancy restaurant.... Yay
I have to be away from her for 3 hours next Monday and it's unavoidable. So again I will pump a bottle. Maybe with me not being in the room and her being super hungry she'll be more likely to accept it. After that though it's back to breast until I go back to work in February.
