How to tell IVF-success BFF I'm pregnant?
Hi ladies, not sure this is the best group but was hoping some of you might be able to help me by telling me what YOU would have preferred.
One of my two bffs (let's call her Leigh) was unable to conceive & ultimately did IVF, & now she has a healthy 1yo baby. Obviously it was a hard & stressful process for her. My other BFF (let's call her Naomi) & I had already had a baby each "naturally" before Leigh conceived hers. Naomi's on the fence about wanting a second child, but Leigh definitely wants to do IVF for another at some point.
All three of us are super close since middle school (we're 35 now) & we group text all the time with just we three.
Now I am pregnant with my second, "naturally." I'm ready to tell my BFFs. If not for Leigh's fertility struggles, I'd share it on the group text with Naomi. My question is, do I need to be extra careful with Leigh's feelings & does that mean that telling her another way would be better? In person? Individual text? She does have her baby & IVF should work well for them again (& cost is not an issue for them)-- if you had fertility struggles but now have a baby, how would you like to hear this kind of news? Would it be hard for you to hear? Give me your insight! I care about Leigh greatly & want to share my news in a sensitive way.
Thank you ladies ❤️
