1st vaginal ultrasound/Pap smear.. shave?!

What type of shaving do you do down there 😂 1st appointment and idk what to do

Nurse here.. literally could care less about how you maintain your hoo-ha hair 😂 personally, I like to keep myself shaved, regardless of if I’m going to the OB or not 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ve asked docs, techs, nurses, PAs, basically any medical professional who I’ve been bare in front of about this and across the board I’ve bern told that they don’t care about hair. No amount of hair can prevent them from doing their job with the exception of the surgeon who performed my open myomectomy who said they shave even a hairless looking spot before surgery. 
I’m planning to keep up my regular maintenance until I can’t really see my area, then I’m going natural because, to me, the risk of an ingrown hair or cut or waxing tear getting infected or having a reaction to chemicals is way worse than having a full bush.

I didn’t do anything until my husband told me he didn’t like the hair. 😂 ever since then I just upkeep for him. I will do that until I can’t see anymore. Just so happened I was clean for the first appointment and he only did an abdominal ultrasound.

I wax but ive gone so many times inbetween waxes and i dont are at all!!!! And the dr doesnt care either

I keep a little V shape and shave the rest. Think I look weird with it all shaved off, plus I’m prone to ingrown hairs if I shave it all. 
I always make sure I’ve tidied up down there before an appointment. Even though I know the ultrasound tech doesn’t even look let alone care! 😂
