I've officially been up for 24hrs. It's been a whirl wind of a day. I'm going to post a little about my birth story, because frankly I've always loved reading them and want to share this special story with you! This may contain some tmi moments so if birth or anything of the sort bothers you, kindly move along.

Last night around 3am I was having typical nightly contractions and had gotten up for the millionth time to use the bathroom. During this particular trip I lost more of my mucus plug and not thinking much of it I went back to bed. Braunn had other plans. He was kicking like crazy and I just couldn't get comfortable. So I went to the bathroom again. 7-8 gushes rushed out of me and being 9 months pregnant I couldn't see what had happened. I called my husband into the bathroom asking him what was going on. He said the toilet was full of cloudy water and then he said "can you control that?" I said "control what??" ....he said "that stream of water!" ..."hunny your water broke" 🤯😳

We kicked it into high gear ....agree many phone calls to our wonderful and amazingly reliable family we got them to come stay with our other children.

We arrived at the hospital around 430am and after getting 3 diffrent checks we were finally admitted, which was a relief because contractions had already started and I was 2-3cm. I made it to 4cm and received an epidural because labor contractions are NO JOKE. after epidural was placed I received pitocin and then the party really started. I labored for about 18hrs with 2 adjustments to the epidural line. Around 9pm I was 10cm and ready to push. I pushed for an hour and a half and with a light vacuum assist Braunn Paul was placed on my belly.

I wish I could say that hour and a half was smooth sailing but it was hands down the absolute hardest thing I've EVER done. The epidural wasnt effective anymore and I felt EVERYTHING. From every hard uncontrollable contraction to the ring of fire to the placenta to the stitches...all. of. It.

For those woman who go pain free, you are BEYOND WARRIORS.

There where moments I wasnt in control of my body and I felt absolutely savage. I tried to give up several times and I was so exhausted I felt like I was passing out between contractions. I tried to climb the nurse, and I called the blood pressure cuff a "stupid mother F*****" more times than I care to admit. But of course...did I get the ultimate gift? Yes. Was it worth every second? Yes.

Would I do it again? Hell no.

😂😂😂

We love you Braunn Paul, our last baby. But dang is mama tired! 😁😘

Thanks for reading!
