My husband and I have been through the ringer the last week.

Here's a recap: found out via home pregnancy test we were pregnant 7/7/19 after trying for 11months. Went in for first ultrasound 7/30, no heartbeat and measuring a week and a half smaller than it should have & we were diganosed threatened miscarriage. Follow up ultrasound 8/5, no growth at all, they found a very faint, irregular heartbeat. Doctor said it didn't look good and she thinks I will naturally miscarry in 3-4 weeks. She did say I have the option of doing a D&C if I didn't want to miscarry in 3-4 weeks. My husband and I are mentally & emotionally exhausted over all this, we are ready to close this chapter. The doctor has no hope for this pregnancy and said that nothing has looked good or viable over the last week with the ultrasounds & blood work.

Any thoughts or advice or anyone been in our situation?
