I had them since Friday morning. So finally I called my doctor Tuesday and told her about them. She told me to go to L&D to be checked.

I was 1-2cm dilated and 80% effaced! I kept having contractions. They got to 2-3 minutes apart.

They gave me an IV and a shot to try to slow or stop the contractions.

Then they gave me a shot to make the baby's lungs develop faster.

She said she wants to get me to 37 weeks. I still had contractions through the night and I'm still in pain today with some bleeding from getting checked twice. Has anyone else had this?
