40+3, had a membrane sweep and was holding my baby 24 hours later!
Violet came too fast and furious for an epidural (ðŸ˜). Woke up at 5am with contractions and was holding her at 10am. Pushed for an hour and got a 2nd degree tear.
Would definitely opt for an epidural the next go-round, but given that second labor is usually even faster, I’ll settle for not having baby in the car on the way to the hospital 😂
She’s 6lbs 11oz, and 21 inches long. So far we think she’s pretty neat. 💜
