So I met my friend while I was dating my now ex husband. We got a long great and have always kept in touch over the span of 9 years. Things fell apart and now I'm a divorced single mom of 2. I have been divorced about 18 months.

My friend and I will go long periods of time without talking but we always pick up right where we left off. He made it very clear that he was interested in dating in the most gentle way. It's been about 2 months and he sent me a text that said I love you. I dont know what to think. I care about him alot and do really like him. I dont know if I should be concerned that this is going to fast? Is it fast if you've known someone for that long?
