So I got my anatomy scan and it overwhelmingly went well, except they thought they might see an extra toe (but they aren’t sure), so I have been referred to the perinatal doctor for high risk pregnancies who will do another scan to check.

I am not worried about the extra toe at all, but I am worried that the extra toe may signal another problem as in people of European decent It often goes with Trisomy 13 or other inherited genetic disorders. I had a NIPT done so I know my odds of Trisomy 13 are under 1:10,000 (maybe by a lot). I also know the heart brain kidneys and stomach looked healthy and he’s growing fine. My husband and I are also nowhere near the same genetic stock. But would you believe I am still anxious? Making matters worse, my husband is supposed to travel to Peru (basically 24 hours in transit) on Sunday for two weeks and the doctor’s has yet to call me back to schedule me....

I don’t suppose I need advice (I’ve called again) but to vent a little anxiety and a ask for good wishes. And has anyone else been told they might have an extra digit?
