Did you OB offer a ultrasound at 27 to 28 weeks

I go in next week for my 7 month check up at 28 weeks and I really want another ultrasound. I'm wondering if you got one from your doctor's or did you have to pay for one at a ultrasound clinic

No, the only ultrasound after the anatomy scan around 20 weeks is usually closer to 38-40 weeks to check on babies size and the placentas health if needed.

No. My next and final will be 32 weeks I believe.

I’ll be getting one at my 28 week apt. They called it a growth scan if I remember correctly but they may only be doing it because I switched doctors and they want to do their own US just to see for themselves where I’m at.

My OB offers a growth scan between 30-32 weeks. I have to have one as I’m considered high risk. Otherwise that one would just be optional.

My OB does one at 32 to check fluids but I’ve never had one that late in the other pregnancy

I haven’t gained or lost any weight (nor was I ever sick the entire pregnancy) and I have to have another ultrasound at 27 weeks (3 weeks from now) to check fetal growth. So be happy you’re not getting one. Seems like it means there’s an issue 🤦🏽‍♀️

I am 27+3. Went to my doc today. No ultrasound. Also only got 2 my whole pregnancy with my first.
