How to get excited about child birth!?

I was so excited for the labour and delivery of my first born. I went all natural and it couldn't have gone better. But now that I've been there done that I'm not looking forward to it like I did before. I plan to go all natural again.
Any ideas what I could do?

I just think if it as "pretty soon I wont be in pain every day" and that works pretty well 😂

I don’t mean this as an insult, but for me it comes from fear.  I did natural birth with both kids and currently pregnant with my 3rd (who I’m having at a birth center and will do naturally again).  As it got close to time with my second, I started to have more anxiety about what was coming, knowing that it would hurt, hating that feeling of being out of control of my body.  What helped me was talking with my husband and doula about those fears and what they could do to help me (for example, having my husband tell me I was doing a good job and that it was almost over, which he did not do with our first).  I was still scared, but it went better than my first in many ways.  I felt much more in control and like I knew what was coming through each stage.  I remember saying ‘I cant’ and ‘it hurts’ and that was when my husband said his ‘lines’ :). Think about your first birth and what could have helped you cope.  Then write it down and share it with whoever will be there (even if its the nurse the day of!).  You aren’t alone!

Ina May’s Guide to Childbirth got me excited for birth again 🥰 I read it once and plan to read it again over the next few weeks.  I’m thinking I’ll read a birth story per night lol
