High mercury fish?

Question

I just ate ono in Hawaii...just split a half a wrap with my husband. Now I’m reading it might be a high mercury fish. Do I need to be worried? It was cooked.

I’m no doctor but I’m sure if you just had that one amount I think you’ll be a-ok. It’s not like you’ve been eating it constantly. :-)

Ono has just about the same amount of Mercury content as Swordfish. I wasn’t aware either when I traveled to Hawaii on my baby moon and unfortunately, since it’s the states fish, it’s everywhere. That said, you will be fine if you just ate it one time, especially since you split a wrap. Just don’t eat any more of it while there :)! Enjoy!
