Second degree tear?

Monday I have birth to our baby boy.. I had second degree tear. I know you're supposed to use the squirt bottle when you pee. How about when you have a bowel movement? Do you wipe or use the squirt bottle? I finally went today and I wiped but I'm not sure if I should of done that or not?

If it was comfortable for you, then it’s fine. The squirt bottle is mostly just to make sure everything is clean when you don’t want to use the paper

The squirt bottle is to clean yourself. You should have been given some sort of laxative pill to help with pooping after birth. Wiping your butt should be fine. I would still spray every time, and then gently dry everything.
