I had my daughter in April and I got the copper iud placed a bout a month ago .

It hurt like hell when she placed it in like it felt worse than any contraction I’ve ever felt 💀

I felt dizzy and sore for a whole week barely able to do anything .

Over course of a month it kept hurting and hurting feeling like contractions so I call on office they tell me it’s normal and it’s my body adjusting so I’m thinking I’m a baby and I’ll just wait till my check up in a month or so . It keeps getting worse so I call the emergency nurse line to told her what I’m feeling it’s a constant pain and she told me to come in . They do an ultrasound on me in the emergency room and can’t find my iud ...

so they had to do a scan and found out it’s not even in my uterus it’s somewhere in my abdomen...

I have anxiety so bro I was shaking scared out my mind lol .

They tell me I need it surgically removed tomorrow.

So next day I was put under and it was found behind my uterus on my colon I’m lucky it didn’t penetrate or harm it or any other organs..

I’m traumatized and my ob said I should never get another iud ...

so I’m trying to figure out what birth control to get now ...

I could be pregnant bc whole time I didn’t know my iud was in wrong place but it’s too early to take a test now ...
