So the wait begins...

Had the NIPT test done today the lab tech said she’s seen results come within a week.

Doctor does not feel we’re at a high risk for abnormalities or down syndrome however, my husband does have a child from a previous relationship that has downs. So we are able to qualify for the test under the “family history” condition.

We’ll also find out the gender using this test option! Doctor did say everything looked good on the scan and the fluid around the neck measured perfectly.
