Were you on birth control when you got pregnant?

Just curious! I knew a few people who got pregnant while on the pill or shot.

Nope, never in my 15 years on the pill did I get pregnant and my hubby and I are super fertile—like pregnant on the first try fertile. If you take if perfectly and use a back up method when you don’t the pill is extremely effective in preventing pregnancy.

I was!! I was on antibiotics at the time.

The answer is no for me, but I have a friend that got pregnant while having the Mirena IUD. I had it twice and never got pregnant on it.

Yes! I got pregnant on the pill, never missed a day but was on antibiotics in October and got pregnant in January because of it. 2 weeks of backup protection my butt, try 2 months!! Also went off for a month, tested when af was due, got a negative so started a new pack of pills and found out I was pregnant the next month! I miscarried at 10w from that also. I went with an iud after my 2nd child to
Prevent getting pregnant on bc a second time.
