My son was referred to seek early intervention for his speech delay and behavior (listening skills and his behaviour when not being able to do what he wants). I just assumed that he is going through terrible twos and that he is just a toddler learning at his own pace but i do see kids his age who listen and can walk down the street without having their hand held or just over all listen. Am i being overly sensitive to his first visit with his specialist at his school? I do have a hard time with him listening to me at home even when im stern with him he thinks i am playing. I feel like a horrible mom because my kids behind. Us it normal to feel like i failed my kid.
