Should I even bother?

I really like this guy, we get on and have a good time with each other but we don't talk that much over text. Sometimes I feel like he's ignoring me and I just overthink. I feel like I should stop bothering so much with him.

Eh, sometimes people don't feel like texting. Imo, it depends on you, your needs & the quality of the relationship when you communicate more.

Ask him about it next time you see him! Some people just don’t like texting much. 
My husband was one of those when we met, and I converted him over time once it was serious! I told him how important good morning/good night texts were, even if he couldn’t/didn’t want to text me during the rest of his day. 
It’s up to you, once you get his answer. If you need constant communication and he isn’t open to that, you may not be compatible. If he just didn’t realize you wanted to talk more, then maybe he’ll try harder :)

Forget him, and text other guys to fill the void. he’ll probably pay you more attention once you stop.
