One month ago we were blessed with the addition of our second child (4 weeks early). It was so stressful me trying to get 2 kids down for bed because inevitably the baby would start screaming halfway through the process of helping my almost 3 yr old or my older would get back up claiming to need to potty while I had already started feeding the baby. So I asked my husband to help put the older to bed. Last night he sent her to bed in a tank top and shorts "because she wanted them" nevermind that we keep the house cold at night so she was up 3xs asking to be tucked in bc she was cold. Tonight they dug out heavy fleece footie jammies again "bc she wanted them" and she has already come out 1x saying she's hot. He doesn't get up during the night so it doesn't bother him but when I'm already up with the baby I get so irritated to have to deal with this too when it could be solved by just putting her in the jammies that are in her "choosing" drawer (drawer with 2 choices that I pre-select during the day so she can be more independent).
