Ok ladies ! Sensitive topic and I’m just curious and open to everyone’s opinion. So my baby is 3 weeks old (he was born premature) so the doctor wanted to wait on getting him circumcised because he was so small so the time has finally come to have it done, but for some reason I’m having second thoughts 🙄 my other son who is 7 was circumcised at birth and it literally traumatized me when they brought him back into the room and he had tears! It seemed so painful so I think the reasons I want to not get my three week old circumcised is because I mentally can’t take knowing he will be in pain for any amount of time, I’m such a sensitive mom I always have been (mom of 4) and my other two are girls so I didn’t have to do this but once. I know the risk of infections and all of I DONT have it done but I feel like I’m being selfish by not wanting him to have it done just bc it will hurt temporarily, and then there is also that thought that maybe he would like to make that decision later as an adult? Idk mixed thoughts. My husband is all for circumsision and doesn’t agree with not having it done . I’m open to all opinions on it! Thanks!
