Why does this make me insecure?

So my boyfriend has been gunning for this electricians apprenticeship position, and well he finally got it. The whole time I was encouraging him not to give up, and because of me he kept pushing. But now that he has it my brain is automatically telling me “now that he has a good job he can get any girl he wants.” Why do I think these things?? Why am I so insecure?

I don't know but you're at serious risk of pushing him away. 
Be proud of him.

Its only an apprenticeship. If he drops you over a job or a promotion then he isn’t worth it anyway.

Maybe try to meet him and be equal. That way, you can feel like you have just  as much to offer as he does.

Go to therapy and figure it out before you ruin your relationship. Also find your own career that makes you feel empowered.

Well as a wife of a electrician most of them don’t have time to cheat or get any girl they want 😂😂 but on a more serious note you need to figure out why your so insecure because no matter what his job is your going to feel this way
