Help me make my neighbors a basket?

Question

they're having a baby in a few weeks and just want to make the new neighbors feel welcome and hopefully become friends :) 
Any ideas of what I could add in it ? nothing to expensive and I want it to be unique and practical for the new parents! 
 
what's already included 
-bottle of champagne
-Italian takeout giftcard
-paper plates

That's so sweet, maybe a pack of antibacterial wipes, someone got those for me amd I liked having them for myself after the csection so ididnt have get up and wash my hand constantly amd for close family around the house.
Maybe some nice shampoo for mom or soaps. 
Dont give any stuff animals I hated getting so many damn stuffys and have nothing to do with them lol. But maybe a cute baby blanket or muslin wrap.

Receiving blankets, onesies, nighties if you get anything for baby. I use those things like crazy. Don’t get newborn anything because they grow out of it soooo fast. Get 0-3 or bigger for later. If you plan on getting something for them order pizza! Lol if they like it. I had someone order pizza and send it to the hospital and it was awesome because they don’t give meals for the dads. Gift cards are good, but depending on the baby they probably won’t use it for a while unless it’s takeout. I can’t go anywhere with my LO yet, 3mo, because he is supper fussy after 45 min being awake. Anyways hopefully that helps?

You could add in some little toys or books! My neighbor brought us a toy and a hooded towel :) you could do a towel, washcloth and baby shampoo, but some people are picky about what shampoo they want (and some babies are sensitive). 
Another idea more for the parents would be some granola bars or some kind of easy snack. You spend so much time “trapped” in a chair or bed with a sleeping baby those came in really handy for me.

All great ideas from everyone :) something I wish my partner had was someone offer to do things like mow the lawn or shovel snow for us. So maybe you could write in a card or little note  offering your assistance with things like that.

Johnson baby bath wipes for messes on the go. Come in handy a lot when ya have poop explosions or get sick out and about or traveling in the car. I’m not a big fan of Johnson products anymore but I will say these work and smell nice and my sensitive baby girl hasn’t had any problems

I got my sister little sock rattles when my niece was born, they were $3 at Walmart and she wore them almost none stop from when she learned to kick until she grew out of them around 4m

Oatmeal Granola bars, fruit snacks, pretzels, trail mix, mini muffins are all easy snacks bc you really forget til you’re stuck in bed or a sofa to grab bottle of water or snacks especially in the middle of the night! Splurge on mini bottle of mustela or cetaphil baby shampoo/bath wash bc it’s for sensitive babies and good stuff to try in the mini version without breaking the bank. Hooded towel and wash clothes. Gonna need them a lot I have found out & depending on weather or if I’m air conditioning baby can use some socks and some basic onesies. Otherwise newborn stage I found the open gowns were super helpful bc you change a babies diapers a lot! Lastly I’d say hand sanitizer, baby wipes, chapstick, plain hand lotion, and mints are all nice to stash in your night stand to have on hand! Hope that helps! OH & I do like how others said food or grocery store pickup gift cards !
