Are most people completely shaved down there for first OB appointment?

I have 4 kids and I'm never completely shaved down there. I trim and that's it. Dr said that the no hair thing is a pretty recent trend and he finds it kind of ridiculous because if anything the hair helps prevent infection.

I didn’t realize I’d be getting a freaking vaginal exam for my first appointment 😂 I went in full bush after a long hot day.. the nurse said, “undress from the waist down..” my ass was in the exam room washing my lady bits at the sink with paper towels 😩💀 
I always wash beforehand no matter the visit.. 
And I’m always shaved until now, I can’t see my who hah anymore.. so back to furry fury until I deliver..

I shave because I feel comfortable that way but as someone else has said, they have seen it all. A good OBGYN is not going to judge you by the amount of hair or the looks of your vjay. 😆

I'm already embarrassed that she's down there so I don't mind that my bush covers my kitty a bit. I do t feel so exposed. If I do shave I'll do it a couple days before so that it has a 5 o clock shadow lol.

Honestly I think a completely bald coochie looks weird, I just keep mine trimmed 🤷🏻‍♀️ it's their job to look at them all day, I'm sure they've seen it all.

No shaving, just trimmed to help keep it cleaner after birth. I don't want to mess with the razor bumps and risk any infection from close shaving.
