Possible Blighted Ovum

Okay so at 7weeks 4 days I had my first doctors appointment and there was a sac no baby. Long story short I’m now 9weeks 1 day & im still pregnant. I haven’t been back to the doctors yet ( took forever to get in touch with the office) My next appointment I’ll be 9weeks 6 days. I finally looked up what else could a sac & no baby mean and I seen it meant a blighted ovum, but I also read typically a woman miscarries on her own. Now I’m nervous and I’m curious has anyone had a blighted Ovum and had to do a D&C ? I’m praying when I go to the doctors they see a fetus, but I want to try to prepare myself as best I can for all possibilities.
