Baby Brody came into the world today after a quick labour! My previous two boys were 14 and 12 hours long and this time it was 3 and a half hours 😮

I got the sweep on Thursday and I was already 2cm dilated and by the evening I had started to loose my bloody show which continued on throughout Friday where I was getting heavy pressure/period pain contractions all throughout the day but we’re very far apart. I was also stripping walls in our new home trying to get it ready for baby. The pains were getting slightly worse by Friday evening but there was never really a pattern to it so I went home, got a shower and went to bed. At 11:30 after about an hours sleep I woke my partner up with a painful contraction that made me complain out loud and that was it he was up and ready to go 😂 I have to say he was amazing throughout the whole experience and definitely felt him there more this time with number 3, it was lovely! We called my mum who had to come round as our other two boys were in bed asleep but the contractions just got closer and closer so they ended up ringing an ambulance for me plus I was already having urges to push which caused my waters to start leaking. I didn’t loose as much as what I thought I needed! I thought for sure I was having a home birth but I managed to get off the bed and down the stairs onto the wheelchair before another one kicked off! We got to the hospital and I was 7cm dilated which I was so happy about especially from previous long labours. Got to the hospital just after 1 and baby was born at 2:58! Only 3 proper pushes I’m very proud of myself! I have to say the pain and pressure was definitely worse this time around but I still made it through on just gas and air and the injection in my leg to let me have a rest in between after only having 1 hour sleep! He came out weighing 7ln 13oz my heaviest baby yet and they called him a chunk! He’s still so small and tiny to me 😍 we were home by 7:15am just in time for the boys to wake up and meet their new little brother. My eldest is so made up he’s going to be amazing. My youngest is only 2 so doesn’t fully understand but they’ve taken to him so well I’m so happy. My third boy and my family is complete I’m so happy 😀❤️
