So ladies I have my first appointment except it's to go and see how far along I am and get it confirmed not obgyn but from CareNet. Anyone who had went there please tell me what they did. And how they figure out my due date. This is my first baby.

Answer

To begin with they'll give you a due date based on the first day of your last period (this generally assumes a 28 day cycle, ovulating in day 14) however not everyone is text book so when you go for your first ultrasound you'll get a new due date which is based on the size/development of baby :-) hope that helps x
