Labor Playlist!?!

Question

Does anyone have a labor playlist to help get them through? Or are you planning to make one? What will be your top songs?

I have two. One is a mix of like fun jams I love with a baby theme (ie “push it” by salt n peppa) and one is calming and instrumental, which my doula says is more like what women want to listen to when in labor. I will see but I know there will be music in some way: my baby loves music and has my entire pregnancy.

As much as I love music I wanted freaking silence lol. I labored for 25 hours with my first (induced for preeclampsia) and was doing everything I could to rest in between lol. I think I would've killed someone if there was music or noise lol.
I deal with my pain better when it's quiet and I can focus on breathing. If there's noise, I get too distracted and it just feels like there is too much going on lol.

I told my husband that we were only listening to the Jonas brothers during labor and I ended up listening to nothing lol

I do! I’m Christian so I have a lot of Christian music on mine. It helps my anxiety and relaxes me! Also I’m gonna add the “ push it” song 😂😂😂

I’m going to try and have as many instrumental/ relaxing songs that I like that are calm or pretty to listen to. I might throw in some bangers for me and my hubby as well just to break it up 😂 I’m trying to follow HypnoBirthing tenets and I think they advocate for soothing instrumental music
