Will baby be ok?

Question

Please don’t judge me because it’s really hard for me to type this. 
So, two days ago I went out to a party with my friends and we ended up taking ecstasy (this is my first time and have no intentions of doing again) I then found out this morning that I am pregnant. My period was a day late so I tested, so I would still be very early. This baby was not planned but is very loved already! 
I have made a doctors appointment but I can’t be seen till Tuesday so I am out of my mind in worry, will the baby likely have been harmed due to the ecstasy and possibly have effects from it or am I likely ok?

You’ll be fine. I did a coke one night and had smoked sooo much weed (while on holiday) before I found out I was pregnant. I obviously didn’t do it again when I found out (or since lol) my boys more than perfect. 
I’d definitely mention it to your midwife/doctor though. They won’t judge but it’s definitely better they know! Congratulations!

I drank a few days before finding out I was pregnant because I was on birth control and not trying for a baby. I'm 12 weeks today and everything seems fine.

My Dr told me, not ecstasy related but with any medication, that very early drug side effects is actually MORE concerning than later on because the baby's central nervous system primarily develops very early in the pregnancy. Even if you don't miscarry, the baby can experience problems with brain and spinal development.  This is why taking a prenatal very early on is much more important than 2nd trimester or later, because so much happens even before getting a positive pregnancy test and the weeks following.  You only took it once so it may be okay, but do NOT rely on strangers on the Internet saying "because it's so early, you're fine". It's the opposite when it comes to most drugs/medications. I'm not trying to shame you, but I'm giving you an honest answer to your question.

Because its so early it will be fine but i wouldnt do it again as then it will effect the baby and chances of losing it or causing defeats. I drank very heavily on my birthday and found out i was pregnate 2 days later but my bubs is healthy and happy im 29 weeks but yeah the more developed bub gets the more damage you can cause just by eating the wrong foods.
