For a couple of weeks now my little guy, who used to sleep 8-8 no problem, let’s out a high pitches cry, sometimes sits up and fussed for a minute or two, around 11 at night and then goes back to sleep. I’ve had to go in once to comfort him otherwise he self soothes.

From 6-7ish he cries and fussed off and on at varying levels of intensity but usually stays on his belly which has always signaled he’s sleepy or wants more sleep. Sometimes he has a big wet diaper and sometimes he doesn’t. We have travelled and he did the same thing so it’s not any kind of noises in our home at that time.

Anyone know what’s happening? Is it a sleep regression, if so how long does it last and should I just let him CIO?? I hate letting him cry in the morning but I’ve been leaving him in the crib till 7 at least because he needs his rest and dozed in and out if I let him cry. 😥
