Traveling?

Anyone done a big trip yet?
We're flying from BC Canada to The Netherlands to visit my husband's family with our two daughters. 2.5yrs and 14 weeks! 🙃 Weirdly I'm not worried about the flight or sleep when there. I'm more worried about the 4hr drive we have to do to get to the airport. My youngest isn't a fan of the car and she struggles to fall asleep. 😬😬😬

I flew home to visit my family when my son was 7 weeks old, the 1hr and a half drive to the airport was fine but he loves the car, the plane trip there was horrible, I had to rock him constantly and he was just cranky the whole time, I figured out on the fly back home I kept him awake in the car, and al through security and at the gate, then fed him the second the plane started to take off and he slept the whole plane ride! It was much better

Drove 500 miles with my 10 week old 5y 10y & 11y wasn't to bad actually

We plan our car rides just after feedings and when he needs to nap - this way he falls asleep already at the beginning and even can manage the whole ride (max did 2h30).
Make sure his car seat is comfortable and the right size.
