I am 14 weeks pregnant with our first child. We elected to hold off on blood work and find out the gender at the Anatomy Scan Ultasound usually 18-20 weeks. We have our appointment scheduled on a Friday and planned to do a gender reveal party the next day, Saturday. My question is: is it too risky to plan the party so close in case the baby isn’t positioned properly and we are unable to identify the gender or are we fine? I don’t know the odds of this happening but it would definitely be embarrassing to have a whole party planned and not know the gender.
