What did your periods feel like after birth in comparison to before getting pregnant

I swear having a kid was a blessing, my periods growing up where insanely heavy, like sometimes lasting 2 weeks and bleeding through the biggest pads within like 2 hours, and my cramps would literally have me dry heaving. And then I had my son and my periods after where pretty light and only lasting 4-5 days. Now I’m pregnant again and I hope I don’t switch back to my original period 🤦‍♀️

The first couple were absolutely brutal. I ended up vomiting from the first one because it messed me up so much. But they leveled out and ended up comparable to pre pregnancy.
