What did your early labor feel like?

Question

I'm having period like cramps, back pain, a headache, dizzy, sore cervix. Occasional contractions randomly

I woke up and my water broke after I peed.(I was 6 days passed my due date) I went to my drs appointment (I had one set up for that day anyway) she confirmed my water broke. I went to the hospital, walked around for 1.5-2 hours then I started having period like cramps. They started a pitocin drip.  Sat in the bed, laid in the bed. Took a nap. Woke up and the cramps had intensified. Sucked it up for awhile. Then at 5CM dilated I opted for an epidural.....after that maybe 2 hours I had the urge to poop REALLY BAD! The nurse came in and I was crowning. 1.5 pushes and my son was here. 
I was in labor for a total of 16 hours but active labor only 8-10. I was really only in serious pain for 30 minutes to an hour. It was right before I had the epidural. Then of course when I had the epidural, the first time the anesthesiologist got the wrong angle on the needle so he had to take it out and try again (that all on its own was painful) I’d SO do it all over again! I loved every minute of it!!! ❤️♥️

Mine started randomly while I was trying to go to sleep. They were like very strong period cramps that came with back pain. My whole body was uncomfortable and I couldn’t get into a good sleeping position.

For me I woke up in the middle of the night with some cramping but nothing I had ever felt before. I just knew it was different. And that just progressed into contractions.

It's different for everyone. My water broke and I just felt a slight urge to poop 💩 then contractions started but far apart. Then, it hit me like a ton of bricks 😂
