Your Experience Without An Epidural?

Hi mama’s! I’m currently pregnant with my second child and while i know not all pregnancies and birth stories are alike, i had a super quick and easy delivery with my first one however i had an epidural, i’m thinking i would like deliver without the epidural this time; with that being said what are your experiences without one? I want to know the good and bad!!😊

My epidural failed so I involuntarily did it meds free. Baby got stuck at the end and it hurt very very bad. I was screaming so loud you could hear it from the corridor.

It’s very hard, but nothing I couldn’t handle. Massage helped. I recommend putting together a team that supports you and researching pain management techniques.

I had a quick labor. I wanted the epidural but didn’t have time for it! But I’m so glad it worked out that way. The “ring of fire” was brutal... but it was all manageable. I told the nurse I was ready for baby #2 before leaving the hospital. She said she had NEVER heard anyone say that. Haha. I don’t plan on getting one with my next either.

My mom did she said hurt like hell and when giving birth it burns lol

It was great, no complaints. Sure it hurt but nothing unmanageable. I used a mirror towards the end to watch him come out and it was such a memorable moment.
