What's your budget for a kids party?

If you host a party, what's your typical budget for a kids party? Please comment how much do you usually spend, what you get and if it is worth it!

I can’t imagine spending more than $100...cups, plates, napkins, cutlery and party hats can all be found cheaply at party city. As well as party bags. The cake/food over all will definitely be the most expensive...probably about $25-$30 for a large sheet cake and the rest of the food fruit and sandwich trays, veggies, chips, soda or juice etc. Parks and playgrounds are a great place for bday parties since they already have the “fun” component built in-there’s no reason to hire any extra outside characters or activities. $300 is my max.. because my family is cheap af so I don’t wanna spend all my money just to entertain their kids if they won’t Bring a decent present. (Not because they can’t afford it. Because they simply are just cheap) & end up not being able to afford spoiling her.
My oldest is 7 & each year we ask her if she’d rather have a party or take a mini vacation for her birthday.. she always picks the vacation we’ve been going to San Antonio for her birthday since she was 4.. but I imagine when she’s about 10 she’ll wanna start having sleep overs or whatever with friends..
