Is 8 weeks too early for your first ultrasound? Had my first maternity visit last week and I wanted to schedule an ultrasound just to make sure im good

Nope. That’s when I had mine with both of my babies 🥰 you can see the heartbeat by then (you won’t hear it though)

I had my first ultrasound at 6 weeks & also found out I was having twins at my first ultrasound. I personally don’t think it’s too early but each ob is different. Some won’t allow you to get one until the fetus has a heart beat. I think you are at a perfect time to get your first ultrasound.
