Older kids to ultrasound appointments???

Question

So my daughter is 6 and I have my dating scan tomorrow and she really wants to go... Problem is it's transvaginal and even though this is my 5th baby I have never had one before. So I am not sure how discreet they are.  Would/have you taken your older child ?

Might call and check with your clinic, my clinic won't allow children at any appointment except the anatomy scan.

My son went with me to a transvaginal ultrasound when he was about 6, i was just having my ovaries and such looked at, but i had a light sheet over my lap, and he sat on the other side of me and watched the screen! He thought it was the coolest thing. Lol

I don't believe anything is wrong with , if your child is their with you being a transvaginal ultrasound.

although i’m on my first baby, my tech had me go into a bathroom connected to the us room and take my bottoms off and wrap a sheet around me... nothing will be shown!

Thank you ladies..  I just wanted to make sure she wouldn't see anything but the baby!  She is super excited to be a big sister again... :)..
