When did you have your first baby?

I am anemic and doctors told me I may have her a little early, curious when other moms had their first baby. Especially if anemic!

To be honest with you a lot of women are anemic and most of them don’t have a preterm baby. I’m anemic too but I’m not worried about that. Just take your iron pills.

I felt I should clarify that I am in the severe range for anemia and the pills haven’t helped raise my levels enough. So I think that’s why my doctor said she may come early. I know most pregnant people have anemia, but I also know I’m in the severe range.

My first and second were both born at exactly 41wks hoping third one doesn’t go to 41 wks

My daughter was born at 41+2, which I’ve read is about average for first time “spontaneous” births (not induced or scheduled)

Anemia really has nothing to do with preterm labor possibilities
If your iron level is low, take iron
Mine was so low I had to have an iron IV and no one said anything like that

In anaemic and my csection is still scheduled at 39w . The only way a baby will be pre term due to anemia is if it turns severe
