When is it “safe” to announce?

Whenever you are comfort with it. I've announced at 5 weeks and miscarried and I've announced at 6 weeks and had a healthy baby boy. A lot of women wait til 12 weeks. I told a select few that I would be comfortable with telling if we had another miscarriage. Then after my ultrasound at 5w5d we saw a heartbeat and we announced.

I told at 6 weeks with my first and miscarried at 8 weeks. It was hard to have to explain that to people so we waited until 15 weeks for our second. This time around we told right away again. I wasnt as anxious about it

We’re waiting tell 12 weeks with this pregnancy. With my son, it was 8 weeks. But I had a miscarriage just a month before we got pregnant with this baby and are super cautious. It’s just so much harder to deal with when everyone knows and are asking questions.

What ever you feel good about! We announced at 13 weeks with my son. And with this one, we have only told my mom and his parents. We are waiting til after the results of the genetic testing come back around 13 weeks again to announce to close family. Then around 16 weeks, we will announce to friends. We are being really cautious as we suffered a miscarriage in February and we had to tell family, we are expecting but we lost the baby. (Only told them due to me having surgery and just wanted family to pray/be aware in case something happened.)

Im debating on posting on social media now at 8+3. We've told our family & close friends. But keep second guessing it because of a sub chronic hemorrhage. 
Its too exciting not to share. & if something were too happen, you don't owe anyone an explanation. I just want to enjoy the excitement 😊
