Today I am 38w6d. Yesterday I was SURE my water broke! I was on the toilet and finished peeing and all of a sudden I had a huge uncontrollable gush like it was the weirdest thing! So when that stopped I laid on my side for a bit, and started getting the chills and shakes. No other leaking was happening, but with my first my water broke in bed in one gush and I had no leaking or contractions for hours after! So I called and doctor told me to head over to l&d, I took a shower then headed over. They monitored regular contractions but they never got too painful and tested but NO AMNIOTIC FLUID! I’m honesty still shocked! I guess baby’s head hit my bladder in the right spot to make that happen?! Anyway I got sent home after a few hours but I am now 3cm! I was 1cm

Dilated at my appt on Thursday so I’m making some sort of progression 🤷🏼‍♀️😂
