What is the difference between tucks cooling pads, and the DIY padsicles? I feel like it's the same but I never used them last time

Answer

Most diy padcicles also call for aloe vera. As someone who made them last time, I will not bother this time. I much preferred the tucks witch hazel pads. To me, the padcicles became a gross goopey mess as soon as they warmed to body temperature. Plus the pads had absorbed so much of the aloe Vera and witch hazel they had very little absorbency left for my blood, which meant I had to change them more frequently than would be otherwise necessary. This time I’ll just use the tucks and maybe keep them in the fridge before I stick them in my pad.
