I went in for an OB appt today. Everything was fine. Doctor ordered new labs for me, I got a dreaded pap smear. And when it came time for her to use the doppler on me, she couldnt find a good heartbeat. She kept getting a faint 130. So she sent me for a stat ultrasound. Except it wasnt so stat cause they just scheduled me in. I was already in tears crying on my way back home. Feeling so stressed. My husband couldnt leave work. It was the worst 1.5 having to wait to get the ultrasound. When it finally came time for the ultrasound... everything was fine! I saw baby's heart flickering away with a heartbeat of 169. Ahh... I got a total sense of relief. Dumb doppler.
