Yes when I was a single mom of 2 receiving no child support, and I worked full time and then some. It was such a lifesaver knowing no matter how high the electric bill was, or if I had unexpected expensive car trouble, I could still feed my kids every week.

No, but honestly I should have. I was too proud to apply even though I would have qualified and ended up buying groceries with my credit card for about 2 years. I have a high paying job now and live very comfortably, but I’m still paying off that debt.

All thru my childhood my moms had them and I continued them through college since I lived on my own. I graduated in May and didn’t even consider reapplying.

Once when I was younger had all my priorities jacked up. 
And once earlier this year (temporarily) when the government shut down, leaving my husband and I with no income.
