Today was my first baby appointment, supposed to be (9 weeks 2 days.) my husband and I were so excited! Went into the ultrasound room and she tells me “I can’t find a heart beat.” Come to find out I only have a yolk sac in my uterus.... My OB isn’t sure if there is a dating issue and I’m not as far along as my “missed period.” Says or baby stopped growing at 4-5 weeks.... 😕 Before I left I had blood work drawn to see what my HCG levels were (I’ll find out in the morning.) and I have a follow up ultrasound on August 22nd... I’m praying for the best and hoping it was messed up dates, but I have a gut feeling it’s what they call a “missed miscarriage.” But I can only hope for a the best....
