If your first child was born through a c-section, what would you choose for your second child’s birth?

I live in a small town with great doctors and a wonderful hospital but it is not fully equipped. If something goes wrong they have to life flight me and my baby to another town and my hospital has no NICU so it’s not worth the risk and stress for me. Plus my first CS went so well I don’t have a problem doing it again. I enjoyed my birth experience. I didn’t feel like I “missed out” but not having a vaginal birth. My baby was born healthy and safe and that’s all that matters to me ♥️
Nothing wrong with a VBAC though. If you want to try go for it! CS is a major surgery so if you are a good candidate and your doctor thinks so that’s great!

That would all depend on why I had to have my first.

VBAC 100%! I have 4 kids and my second was a C-Section and the last 2 were VBACs. I was convinced to get an epidural with the first VBAC which caused my labor to come to a hault but I had him after 18 hours. My last came so quick I almost had him at home. Contractions started at 1am, 2am my water broke, 3am I had a baby! It was crazy but definitely my best delivery/recovery by far and it was natural with no meds!

I've had 2 vaginal births and 2 c sections. I far preferred my vaginal births for several reasons. I really wanted a vbac with my 4th baby,  but unfortunately ended up with preeclampsia and induction didn't work out.

I chose c/s then ended up doing VBAC... Thanks to the midwife and a nurse lol for talking me into it..  The best choice, yet brutal... Epidural was limited because my BP was affected...so felt everything ripped out of me. Healing was painful had a small tear, but getting that raw switching done in the area that's most sensitive... I wanted to kill my Dr lol! Survived, now prego with #3.
