Family in delivery room?

Question

How many people do they allow in the room during delivery? I only wanted my SO there but now his daughter says she wants to be there too. I find it a little odd, we're not really too close, but I respect she wants to be there to see her little sister born. This all kind of threw me off. I figure every hospital is different, but who did y'all have with you at the time of delivery?

A. My vagina will be out nobody but he gets to see that(him and the DR)
B.he put it in there and they didn't!

I had my SO in the room, obviously lol. It was my first baby, I had my mom there with me and my sister who has already had a baby. Honestly, while your pregnant and planning you care a lot, but in the moment you have no idea what's going on with anyone else, modesty went out te window and you just have you precious babe in your arms and your man is hugging you, trying not to get emotional 😉 it's up to you but those little things like your vagina showing don't matter when it's happening. ( at least for me it didn't)

I don't want anyone but my SO. I don't want anyone else seeing me push my baby out except the person who helped create it lol I would think it's weird for anyone else to want to see besides the moms but I know my mom doesn't want to see and I wouldn't feel comfortable

I've made it clear since day 1 it would be just my husband and I along with the doctor and hospital staff. We are only telling the person watching our pets that we are even at the hospital because we don't want anyone else at the hospital until at least 24 hours after her birth. That time is for us as a new family to bond, rest, get refreshed and work on breastfeeding without everyone else. Despite some backlash, we are keeping firm about the one part of our birth plan we can control.

I was allowed two support people. I had my husband and my mum, they were amazing when I started losing my shit. They both held my hand for 22 hours and were just so incredible 😊

You have to talk to your hospital to be sure since they're not all the same. Mine allows 3 unless it's a c-section and I'll have my baby's father and my mom.
