Today someone I am not close to but graduated with and grew up with, posted that she lost her baby she was about 6-7 weeks she never even got to announce her pregnancy, just her loss.

I feel awful and can’t imagine what she is going through and how tough that must be . I was planning to announce my pregnancy this Friday (I’m 18 weeks) but I told hubby I want to wait now just because she just posted it today and I’d feel like she would see it and feel more pain . He says since me and her aren’t close anymore, I shouldn’t worry about how she feels but now I’m thinking we should just wait a few weeks.

I know me and her aren’t close anymore but I don’t want to have all of our mutual friends congratulating me while she’s going through such a terrible time and I don’t want it all over her social media because I feel like it’s just going to make her hurt a little more .

Hubby is 100% against me and says I’m thinking too much into it. I would like to add me and her were once best friends even though we have barely spoken in about 5 years.

Is it wrong for me to want to wait a little bit now or is hubby right? Am I thinking about it too much?
