How much bleeding or spotting is normal in early pregnancy?

I found out I was pregnant like three days ago. Today, when I wiped there was a faint pink tinge to the mucus left of the toilet paper. Am I miscarrying? 
I’ve had one early miscarriage before and the blood came all at once like a very heavy period. 
I have been trying to call my doctor but haven’t gotten though.

Any dark red/bright red blood accompanied by cramping is alarming. If it’s light pink and not consistent then it’s totally normal in early pregnancy!

Bleeding is not “normal” during pregnancy at all. Some women get implantation bleeding. Some women bleed during pregnancy for different reasons, but it’s not normal.

No amount of bleeding and spotting is “normal” but it doesn’t necessarily mean anything is wrong. If it starts to become heavy and is accompanied by cramping, get in touch with your doctor.

Hi, I am in the exact same situation. Since this morning I am spotting. Have you taken any tests since then? I have read spotting/light bleeding can mean both unfortunately :-(
