i have always gotten yeast infections, even as a kid. i seem to get one atleast once a month when it gets really bad. how do you ladies deal with it/prevent it? i clean down there everytime i shower (once a day skipping a day here and there), i wear cotton boy shorts and sweats pretty much every day, i don’t know what i’m doing wrong. it’s always been a pest but now having sex hurts like a mf and it’s icky afterwards. i’ve been std tested, i know i’m clean. my partner has been tested, he’s clean. we both are monogamous. i took a pill from my doctor for this one but jesus! is there anything preventative i can do? i don’t know if there’s any correlation, but the infection seems to be worse than normal ever since i got my iud a month/ month and a half ago. i had an infection when i went in for the procedure and didn’t even know it. got it cleared up, and now it’s back. help!!!!
